Hey guys, today I am posting one more poem. I have tried to portray why love turns to hate and the gradual changes it leads to. I hope you guys like it.
When Smile fades..
When smile fades
And tears start to glow
Caressing through your skin
Silently it flows.
When words are hollow
And vanish into wind
You are in sorrow
And hardly breathing in
When chest becomes heavy
And ache with pain
The day is not shinny
And silently it rains
When words turn into argument
Thunder strikes down
Cracking every fragile heart
Breaking with no sound
When memory turns nightmare
Hunting every time
Dreams turn into ashes
In blazing caged mind
When song becomes sorrow
Mourning for death
This is what happens when
Love turns into hate
When every promise you keep
Turns into curse
Memories become dreadful
Filled with remorse
When world crumbles down
Under your feet
Life becomes meaningless
Worthless it may seem
When hope turns into despair
It swallows you in
You don’t realize
How much you become mean
When you curse your fate
For falling in love
Tears pour down silently
Rhythming with sob
When you question yourself
Why it has to be me
You scream at others
You don’t know what it feels to be me
It is just sad
When you don’t realize you are not the only one
Other is also in pain and sorrow
And fighting it alone
When you are hurt
You defend with words
But both are in pain
Fighting with double edge sword
You may be afraid now
Trembling with fear
Afraid of your vulnerability
Losing one’s dear
When you build the walls
Afraid to be near
I may be the voice
That you need to hear
So, when anguish kills love
With silent blow
The smile fades
And tears start to flow….
